Fall is my absolute favorite to decorate for. I have more pumpkins then I can count, and I add real in to fill every little nook and cranny!
What is nice about pumpkins, none of them really go out of style. I add a few new ones each year, but they have all lasted so long. I know this wooden one on the coffee table is 9 years old, I bought it at a craft fair the day we got our Lab. And I put it out each year!
I always add in some leaves or fall garland to fill in empty spots like here on the shelves…
Some will stay, and I will just add in some Thanksgiving elements as the time nears…

Fall is my fav for so many reasons, sweaters, boots, cool nights, the routine again with school, Thanksgiving, and all the pumpkin picking, apple picking, fall fest, but really it is the only thing I decorate for and leave it out for months (September until after Thanksgiving). In order to keep it fresh in the house, I do move things around and add and take away throughout those months.
