First on the list today, is Happy Monday!  Kids are back in school, and my little guy is peacefully napping (after dancing his little heart out all morning).  Monday’s are my day off, so I use this time to clean, paperwork for our construction business, craft with my little guy, and errands, blab, blab, blab… basically as much as I can fit into these short hours!

This morning I had a question pop into my DM about keeping my kitchen cabinets white, with so much traffic (little people and big) in and out of this space, how do they stay white?  The answer is: (DRUM ROLL, PLEASE)   MAGIC ERASERS!!!  I have always been a fan, and it takes me about 5 minutes each week (or even every couple of weeks) just wiping them down.  The cabinet with the glasses, and the Tupperware (bottom corner) are always the dirtiest.  Todays little cleaning took a little more elbow grease, because our little guy rides his Strider bike around the house (whips it really, wheelies, jumps, you name it) and the bottom cabinets had a nice tire mark across the whole front!  I just had to scrub a little harder to “Magically Erase” that section, haha!  But it has disappeared and no one would ever know!

When I decided to paint our cabinets, keeping them clean was something I was worried about.  Chalkboard paint is the best stuff, because I can simply wipe it right down!  If you drink coffee, or tea in the morning, while your K-Cup is brewing, or water is boiling, get that Magic Eraser out and wipe away the evidence of kitchen traffic (and before you throw away the sponge, wipe down the garbage can while you are at it!)

Hopefully that will make your life a little easier and your kitchen a little cleaner!

XOXO
